Nach ihrem Live-Debüt auf dem ausverkauften Lollapalooza hat das in San Diego ansässige Alternative-Pop-Trio almost monday neulich seine neue Single „cool enough“ samt Musikvideo veröffentlicht. Der unter der Regie von Nico Poalillo entstandene Clip konzentriert sich auf die selbstzerstörerische Reise von Leadsänger Dawson Daugherty durch eine dystopische Gesellschaft, während er versucht, alles zu tun, um cool genug zu werden, bevor er erkennt, dass es nicht hält was es verspricht und singt: “Am I, cool enough for your love? Sorry if I don’t fit your description.” Die Single folgt auf die EP „til the end of time“, die die Band Anfang des Jahres veröffentlicht hat. Geschäftige Zeiten für die Kapelle also. Und trotzdem fanden Dawson Daugherty, Cole Clisby und Luke Fabry für unser „My Soundtrack“-Format Zeit.
