Erstens kommt es anders und zweitens als man denkt. Eigentlich sollte am 21. Februar das Solo-Debütalbum des Mando-Diao-Frontmanns Björn Dixgård erscheinen, doch nun haben sich die Pläne kurzfristig geändert. Weil der kreative Strom einfach nicht abreißt, hat Björn die Platte in den Herbst geschoben – und jetzt stattdessen eine EP veröffentlicht: „And Then, From the Shadows“ heißt das gute Stück , eine hinreißende Mischung aus melancholischem Country, Americana, Soul und der schwedischen Singer-Songwriter-Tradition. Die Arrangements sind reduziert und transparent und sie lassen Björns Stimme viel Raum. Reinhören lohnt sich – und reinschauen: und zwar in diese 24-Stunden-Episode.
