24 Stunden mit … Mary Middlefield

Great Vibes

I usually leave all my gear in a studio space a couple of my friends, colleagues and I rent. I’ve been writing and recording stuff a lot recently and that place has great vibes and no distractions. That day, we had a show so I just came by to pick up the stuff I needed for the day. (foto: Mary Middlefield)

Tetris

Loading the van is always really time consuming and annoying for us. We have a lot of gear and a limited amount of space in the van so it’s mostly a game of tetris, which I believe we have pretty much mastered at this point. (foto: Mary Middlefield)

Raststätte

The Raststätte stop is mandatory. Especially today. The drive was really long and the weather was shit. (foto: Mary Middlefield)

Soundcheck

I’m still starting out. So being a small and new artist, I feel very lucky when get a soundcheck slot. That time we got one. We got to play a couple of songs and make sure that everything’s working. That’s always really reassuring for me. (foto: Mary Middlefield)

Mirror Selfie

Post gig mirror selfie. I love my band very much. They keep me grounded before, during and after our shows. We don’t just play or write together, we all spend time together when we don’t work, which I think is so important. We spend so much time on the road together, so we have to like each other and get along. (foto: Mary Middlefield)

Skiing Time

We were playing in the mountains and our deal included ski-passes (insane!!). We took the next day off and had the best ski-day ever. I mean just look at the photo. (foto: Mary Middlefield)
