„Gut Ding will Weile haben“ – wenn auf jemanden dieses Sprichwort passt, dann auf Aidan Martin. Von klein auf wurde der britische Singer-Songwriter vom Leben immer wieder hart auf die Probe gestellt, einiges davon selbstverschuldet, anderes verursacht durch Umstände, in denen er sich wiederfand. Mit 30 Jahren schreibt Aidan Songs, die so viel Wahrheit in sich tragen, radikal ehrlich und emotional herzzerreißend, schmerzhaft schön und wahrhaft gefühlvoll – so etwas kann man sich einfach nicht ausdenken, wenn man es nicht wirklich gelebt hat. Wie eben „Good Things Take Time”, seine neue Single, die von psychisch dunklen Stunden und dem Prozess des Heilens handelt. Uns hat der junge Mann aus Newcastle nun Einblick in seinen Alltag gewährt.
