Bald ist es soweit: Die in London lebende Sängerin, Songwriterin, Künstlerin und Komponistin Tessa Rose Jackson hat mit „The Lighthouse“ ein neues Album in der Pipeline, die Platte wird am 23. Januar veröffentlicht. Gerade kam mit der Single „Built To Collide“ nochmal ein Appetizer. Ein dynamischer Indie-Pop-Track, der sich mit verträumten Gitarrenklängen und verspielten Streichern zunehmend intensiviert und in einem rasanten Schlagzeugfinale gipfelt. Eigentlich ganz passend zum Auftakt eines neuen Jahres, erinnert uns der Track doch daran, dass das Leben zwar ernst ist, es aber auch Freude bereitet, zu wissen, dass es leichte Momente gibt. River Man – Nick Drake
Nick Drake is one of my favourite artists of all time and this song is just a masterpiece. The string arrangement, the eb and flow of it is just so stunning. The song itself has quite a steady flow to it, but the strings just go against it in exactly the right way, which creates such strong moments of tension and excitement.

Nick Drake ist einer meiner absoluten Lieblingskünstler, und dieser Song ist einfach ein Meisterwerk. Das Streicherarrangement, der Rhythmus, das ist einfach atemberaubend. Der Song selbst hat einen recht gleichmäßigen Fluss, aber die Streicher bieten ihm genau im richtigen Moment die Stirn und erzeugen so starke Momente der Spannung und Begeisterung.
Patterns in Repeat – Laura Marling
Everything about this song I love so much. Specifically the guitar work and the freedom with which it flows as a composition is just so beautiful to me. And of course, as always with Laura Marling, the lyrics and vocal performance are incredible.
Ich liebe einfach alles an diesem Song. Besonders das Gitarrenspiel und die fließende, freie Komposition gefallen mir sehr. Und natürlich sind, wie immer bei Laura Marling, Text und Gesang unglaublich.

Kae’s work always makes me emotional, but I rediscovered this track recently and have been listening on repeat. In these mad, divided days.. I think these words are important.
Kaes Musik berührt mich immer sehr, aber diesen Song habe ich vor Kurzem wiederentdeckt und höre ihn seitdem in Dauerschleife. In diesen verrückten, von Spaltung geprägten Zeiten sind diese Worte meiner Meinung nach wichtig.
Can’t Be the One – Lily Lyons
Another brilliant new album. I’ve admired Lily’s work from afar for a while now, and this song is my current favourite. I love the simple care-free drive of it, and it’s so clever in its choice of chords and melody. Just really good songwriting.
